Matteo is a director and visual storyteller who bridges two worlds that rarely meet: the journalistic grit of crisis and conflict documentary, and the precision of political and commercial campaigns.

Based in New York, he heads the film unit for the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), leading productions across crisis zones like Ukraine, Afghanistan, Haiti, and Yemen. Backed by a master’s in International Relations from New York University, he brings that same field-tested instinct to high-stakes messaging—having delivered broadcast and digital spots for Hillary for America alongside fashion, commercial work, and music videos. His projects have been featured at Sundance and appeared in The New York Times, Reuters, and Rai TV.
